Calling all Ottawa actors! a Company of Fools is holding a Shakespeare Audition Workshop, facilitated by our very own Artistic Director, Kate Smith!

The purpose of this workshop is to offer Ottawa actors the opportunity to brush up on their Shakespeare performance skills and work their monologues in advance of a Company of Fools' upcoming general auditions. Participants will learn about audition technique, brush up on their Shakespeare skills by engaging in some scene work, and finally work one of their prepared Shakespeare monologues and receive specific feedback from Kate. As Kate says, "It's a chance to have a 6-hour audition with one of next season's directors!" 

This workshop will be held at LabO, in Studio 2201 (60 Waller Street).

Cost: $25/participant, or free for current 4th-year students and graduates of the University of Ottawa's Department of Theatre program with code UofOFools.
