a Company of Fools 35th Anniversary Campaign Wrap Up!
Folks, it's official. We're 36. But man, it was a fun year! We are so grateful to everyone who donated, came to our shows and events, shared about us on social media, told their friends, family and neighbours about us…the list goes on and on! You helped us raise just under 50% of our goal, bringing us to a total of $17,017!
While we didn't find our forever home (yet!), we have been so grateful to the Great Canadian Theatre Company for letting us call their space home for the foreseeable future!
But fear not! We are still happy to take those gold bars off your hands, that you of course meant to donate, right?
Your eyes are not deceiving you folks! That is the official Fools Way sign, which was unveiled April 1st 2026 (because of course) by our incredible co-founders, Margo MacDonald and Heather Jopling. It was the perfect send-off of our 35th year. We want to thank everyone who came out to share in the unveiling. The wind may have been cold, but the vibes were warm and fuzzy!
We want to also send a huge THANK YOU to Councillor Plante for helping us secure this street sign by backing our application. And thank you to Mayor Sutcliffe for declaring April 1st 2026, 'a Company of Fools Day' here in Ottawa!
